The Capalaba Park, which is a rideable terrain of over 2000 sq m, was designed by Convic, a company that has designed the world’s biggest facility for skateboard and BMX riders in Shanghai.

In Australia, industry analyst at IBISWorld, Ed Butler, estimates the skateboard market is worth up to $40 million annually.
