Skateboarding enthusiasts in Australia have a common-ground to share their views and news on the internet now. Endless Blue Inc, a continental IT services provider, has launched its much-awaited skateboarding website, www.skateboarding.com.au. In November 2011, the company announced that it was developing a mainstream site for skateboarding in Australia, and in July 2012, the site went live.
Endless Blue had successfully acquired a premium domain name for the site, and targets the mainstream skateboarding community down under. The company’s Managing Director and entrepreneur, Andrija Mesterovic, had stated earlier that they had been able to get the premium URL at a reasonable price, surprising many in the $40 million industry.
The blogs on the site are simple, entertaining and informative too. The site also features a forum where skateboarders from all over the country can interact with each other, start a discussion or join one to discuss about events, competitions, people or just the sport in general. It also has an exclusive ‘Down Under’ section that provides information about skateboarding shops, skate parks, and brands related to the sport in Australia. A games category, where one can play virtual skateboarding games, is also a part of this brand new skateboarding site.
Skateboarding.com.au, which is developed by Endless Blue Inc, will also feature photo contests very soon and give away cool goodies to the winners. Although live, the site is still a work-in-progress and welcomes any feedback and suggestions from the members. Hopefully, it would soon evolve into the much needed site for boosting the growth of this gripping, free-spirited sport in Australia.
